Each level lasts one school year, with a class every week except during school holidays. Your child progresses at their own pace, with real projects along the way.
Discover programming logic through play, with Scratch and a first look at AI.
Move on to real programming with HTML/CSS and Python, and build first mini apps.
Build complete projects, master JavaScript and use AI at an advanced level.
Flexibility or face-to-face: both paths lead to the same skills. Choose what fits your child's schedule. A registration fee may apply depending on your situation.

Joining the Startup Académie instructor team is no small thing. Every candidate goes through a multi-step selection process: application review, in-depth interview and a teaching trial. Only candidates who meet all of our criteria are hired.
Our instructors hold degrees in the subject they teach: web development, programming, robotics, artificial intelligence, digital design and more. They know their subject inside out, so they can answer your children's questions with precision and clarity.
Being an expert isn't enough. Each of our instructors has prior experience teaching or mentoring young people, whether in schools, nonprofits, private tutoring or workshops. They know how to adapt their approach, keep kids engaged and make learning accessible and enjoyable.
Before leading their first session, all of our instructors sign our Child Protection Charter. It sets out clear, non-negotiable rules: communication only through our official platforms, kind and respectful behavior at all times, and immediate reporting of any concerning situation. Any breach leads to immediate suspension.
Our instructors aren't left on their own once hired. Every session is followed up for quality: student feedback, observations from the teaching team and regular reviews. An instructor who no longer meets our standards receives support or is removed. Quality isn't a one-time promise, it's an ongoing process.
What sets our instructors apart is how they see teaching. To them it isn't a side job, it's a calling. Watching a child understand, grow and create something they're proud of: that's what drives them. You can feel that passion from the very first session.

Your child's safety is our top priority. Every instructor goes through a rigorous screening process and signs a Child Protection Charter that prohibits any unsupervised private communication with a minor outside of official sessions. All classes take place exclusively on our secure platform, never on unmonitored third-party tools. We recommend that parents of children under 10 stay nearby during the first few sessions.
For in-person classes, no. To avoid disrupting the lesson, the whole class and the teacher, parents cannot attend regular sessions. Discovery sessions are held regularly: you're welcome to come with your child and join in. Contact us to find out the upcoming dates.
For online classes, you can be there next to your child, as long as you don't step in during the session: any interruption can disrupt the whole group.
Contact our team right away at contact@startupacademie.com. Every report is handled as a priority and in strict confidence. The instructor involved is suspended during the investigation, and a full refund is granted if the behavior is confirmed. In case of immediate danger, contact emergency services first.
Of course, that's actually true of most of our students. We offer programs from beginner to expert. Before starting, we assess your child's level and interests to point them to the best-suited program. All it takes is curiosity, no prerequisites needed.
Our programs are open to children and teens ages 6 to 17 (ages 8 and up for the online school), with programs tailored to each age group. Contact us at contact@startupacademie.com and we'll guide your child to the most suitable level.

Your child needs a stable internet connection and a computer (or a tablet, though a computer is better for coding). No paid software is needed: all our tools run directly in the browser. A smartphone alone is not enough for coding activities.
If your child misses a class, there is no refund: the session is still payable. The teacher will send the class materials to your child so they can catch up at their own pace. Please let us know as early as possible at contact@startupacademie.com.
In France, classes are taught in French. For families in other countries, the language of instruction is clearly stated before enrollment. We do our best to offer an instructor who speaks your child's native language. Contact us to find out which languages are available in your area.
If you live in the European Union, you have a legal 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of signing up, with no reason required. After that, our team reviews each situation case by case. We often prefer to offer a change of instructor or format before considering a refund, since a single adjustment session is often enough to turn the experience around.
Since our programs are for children and teens outside of a professional setting, they are not eligible for the CPF (France's personal training account), which is reserved for working adults. We do, however, offer affordable prices and installment payment options. Contact us to find the options that suit your situation.
